You can elect to track attendance in an event by checking the Track Attendance box in your Event Settings (see screenshot below).
For a single day event, we recommend tracking RSVPs using the Track Attendance feature.

For multiple day events, we do not track RSVPs. You can, however, use a Signup List for tracking how many people are attending.
